Need answers!!

Hey there.. so a few days ago we got two yellow ringnecks (3 and a half months) They are active and they do chirp and they even get handfed and they even come out of the cage and interact with my cockatiel but the male bird sleeps standing still with his head lowered you know like drooping down and I just wanted to know if this is something normal or should I be worried about this?
Yours answers would certainly help me. Thanks in advance

I have no personal experience with ringnecks so it might be normal for this species but the couple of birds I got which slept without tucking their head under their wings were sick.

I don't have ringnecks but my birds all sleep standing and never tuck their heads unless they are trying to sleep in a room full of disturbances. The head drooping worries me more, but not sure about ringnecks.

All I can say is my cockatiel would sleep with her head drooping forward. On occ. she would also fall off her perch at night, so you need to watch for this. My tiel would then have "night fright" I put a night light near her cage which helped her to stay calm enough to get back up on the perch.

My Indian ringneck would do this if she wasn't entirely comfortable in her surroundings. Try covering her at night or repositioning the cage
