Why does he do this?

My Conure and I have been bonding more and more lately but he started to do something strange.

He grabs a finger in his beak, gently, and he starts to bob his head up and down extremely fast, enough to generate heat.

He also rubs his beak against me.

I suspect he is showing affection, is that so for both behaviors?

I think so.
He wants to be preened by his partner, that's normal parrot behavior.
