You're so close Anna! Right species, wrong mutation prefix

Here is your final hint!

A creamino linnie is not yellow.
If it is a creamino the riddle question wasn't correct.

well, to the naked eye...

yes we are now the proud adopters of a linnie! she is about a year old, tame and sweet, her owners are about my age and just had preemie twin boys, they already have 2 dogs, a (mean) cockatiel, a hamster, and about 15 chickens outside so they have their hands full! they were worried this little love wasn't going to continue getting the attention she needs so they listed her on CL... good thing I check frequently!!

So this is Luna... we are not keeping the name but haven't come up with a new one yet. She is precious

Poor thing is going through a molt so she looks pretty disheveled, hopefully she will move through it quickly. She is also another little special needs girl, she has a deformed left foot (one of her back toes curls forward oddly) and sort of a crooked beak... my guess is poor breeding because the woman said she got her that way and the "breeder" was "sketchy". She gets around fine though (even though she needs a nail trim desperately, but I didn't want to do too much at once, she's only been here since Friday night)

This is her foot

so.... I have 4 birds the end

She is beautiful, congrats! I do think you should keep the name Luna though, it fits her wonderfully

I think it does fit her appearance, because she is that soft pastel dreamy color but we just can't get ourselves to say it seeing as we call all of the other ones "poopy boy" and "poopy girl", and collectively they are the "little poopies"

she says "bird" and "big bird", and responds with her body language when I say it, so I don't think they really called her Luna either. I was almost thinking B.B. for Big Bird even though she's really my smallest lol well she's probably about the same size as Chip, I think she is small for a linnie. I just love her little peeps. Her call is WOAH though, she almost beats Chewy with her pitch!

Welcome to the land of linnie!! She's beautiful! Luna is a cute name! She's found herself a wonderful home!

And God said, "...let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky." And God saw that it was good.

Wow, this is a color between lutino and creamino, I've never seen this before, that's beautiful.

In the next few days I'm going to try to get a record of Paulchen (blue) when he calls the wild IRNs outside in the morning.

seriously, I am in love with this bird she is getting used to us and coming out of the cage on her own (she was too nervous to come out over the weekend) She loves attention and will snuggle up right next to our face on our shoulder. I love her little peep sounds! She loves when we talk to her, I am so happy I adopted her!

Karin, is she bright for a creamino? she definitely has red eyes but I really don't know much about mutations. I will take pictures in a week or so when she has gone through her molt (hopefully)

She is cute, the color of butter!
The cremino's can vary in shade from almost white to a pale yellow.

Jill, lutinos are yellow, and creaminos are cream white. I would say she is too yellow for a creamino.

She looks like a dark cremino's to me. Sure fire way to tell, get her a blue male, if any of the chicks are green then she's a lutino

Adorable little Linnie! So dainty looking like a delicate flower or rose.

Neat color no matter which mutation she is.
