Gemma is a big girl now

Even though she grew up too fast (laying eggs at only 6 mths lol) she techincally wasnt a big girl until today. Today was her 1st Hatchday! To celebrate she got to go on a walk outside with the dogs, Oliver, and I and eat millet.

About her egg laying, nothing I tried got her to stop until I put her on a daily oral amount of Harrison's Releaves. Now all is well and I have my semi-sweet inquisitive girl back, lol. We are grateful to have Gemmie. She has changed Oliver's life in a way I never could. He is a new man since she came around.

Happy birthday Gemma! They look so cute together. I love that little cage. I need to get one to let the birds come out and get fresh air and sunlight....maybe a little " parakeet " cage, it seems like they enjoy it....and a lot easier than harness training which I don't think will happen with my linnies.

Yeah Gemma hates the harness she just chews on it the whole time. But on our walks in the carrier, both her and Oliver love it!
