Sun conure trying to attack Linnie

I'm moving in about 6 months but right now I only have one bedroom which is the birds room where my birds fly free, I have a golfing, sun conure, blue throat conure, a cockatiel and 2 budgies, they've lived free for years and all get along great, I brought home a new Linnie and I put her in the bird today after quarentine and my sun conure hates her, he keeps trying to bite her through the cage, I ended up having to cage him and put a lock on his cage to keep him from getting to her . I don't know what to do, I can't keep her in the main part of the apartment as I have cats, and I'm scared of letting him out in the bird room, they come out into the main part for play time but I'm scared what if he somehow he escapes his cage and goes after her, is there anything I can put on a couple sides of the cage to keep her safer and make sure there's no bites, like carboard or a blanket, do you think it would scare a bird to have three side of the cage covered her wings also came clipped

Or maybe I could build another cage on top of her cage that's far enough away that he can't get his beak in

I was thinking this idea might work, look around craigslist or buy and sell sites and see if you can find a larger cage that will fit over or around the linnies cage to protect her.

I've seen friends who had an outdoor aviary that had hawks attack their birds through the wire, they put up another cage barrier a foot wider around the perimeter of the aviary flight cage and stopped their birds from being attacked anymore.

Look around collapsible chicken wire cages/pens you can find some good deals on these type of cages that fold flat when not needed.

Check out collapsible pens like this one is $133.00

You'd have to figure out how to cover the top but I'm sure some chicken type wire frame top can be cheaply built. There are tons of these pens in all sorts of shapes and sizes.

Great idea that's a long the lines of what I was thinking, she's in a wrought iron flight cage, I had a big kitten cage(like 4.5 feet tall but its not big enough for the wrought iron cage to fit into, I was thinking that maybe the hardware store might sell some galvanized steele sheets that could be attached together to make a cage

Sounds like a plan.
