Beak cleaning

Any tips on beak cleaning? My cockatiels both have fruits and veggies all stuck to their beaks. They ate while I was asleep so I couldn't clean their beaks when it was fresh. Now it's dried up. I assume a warm damp wash cloth would work but I just want to make sure before doing anything! Pretty new to the bird game so ill be asking alot of silly seeming questions.

Warm water and a wash cloth is one way to go, you mentioned your birds are hand tame and trusting so you shouldn't have too much of a problem.
