Unhappy Lemon went "missing"

Lemon gave me one heck of a scare last night

I had him and Sam out to play on the bed as always. Since Bud's acting strange (being aggressive suddenly) and bit me and drew blood, I left him in the cage. Lemon loves to run down the edge of my bed and jump down onto the footboard.

Apparently I fell asleep at the foot of the bed after keeping Lemon at the head. Well I woke up sometime later and put Sam up. I didn't see Lemmy so I figured he just jumped onto the floor again. Well, I looked in, on, under, behind and beside the bed and I couldn't find him. I looked everywhere he had ever been in my room. Nothing.

I went to my mom and told her he was missing and I was panicking. We searched the entire house and couldn't find him. I ended up crying and thinking something bad happened to him.

My mom looked at the footboard and told me to look and this green and yellow budgie was hanging onto the sheet.

I picked him up and put him in the cage and tried to calm down. I wasn't even that tired when I was laying down. Actually I was watching videos on YouTube.

I haven't freaked out so bad since Cocoa was hit by a van back in maybe September.

But yes he's okay. He just scared me half to death

They do know how to freak us out when we least expect it. Glad Lemon is safe.

So am I.

As long as he's okay and safe, I'm fine.
