Air purifiers
Hi all! We have 15 birds and are considering an air purifier. Which brands are better and how well do they work? Thanks for your input!

I don't have one yet, but you need to make sure you get a HEPA filtering one, not an ionising one. Something about what the ionising ones produce or remove from the air, isnt good for birds. Some you can turn the ioniser off on - if you keep it truned off then they're fine.

I have a really old HEPA one... it's from when we had our Moluccan, so... 6 years old? 
Still works great, REALLY makes a difference on Moose and Goober's feather mess! I have to take the filter outside once a week, or it gets clogged

I've always wanted to get one, but have never made the investment. I always see the Rabbit Air Bio GS advertised in BirdTalk. It's not cheap, but I'm sure it is an investment well worth it.
