Maxx's new bath

Maxx has been using his water dish as a bath and it was a bit too small. I tried different bowls, and he never seemed to like them. I went to Petsmart to buy one of the Lockit Bird Baths. You put the bowl in the base, turn it around and it locks in place.

What I saw I was not impressed with. It was a nice diameter, but only an inch deep. I found the same thing, with the same diameter but with a 2 1/2 inch depth. This was the 20oz bird dish. The bath was $12.99, and the dish I bought was only $8.99

Five minutes after I installed in, Maxx was getting totally wet. After he figured out he could climb in, and touch the bottom, he went to town.

I am very happy with his new addition to his outside cage.

Looks decent enough for a good bath! Sometimes even the bigger birds still stick with their old standbys:

Hence Art and his water bowl...

Great pic, I love how they can fit into the tiniest bowls.

The reason I mentioned that is because Duke tries in vain to fit into his side clip in ones, and when I bath him with the mister, he usually hates it, even when he could have been bathing seconds before.

That is why I figured he needed a slightly larger water/bath bowl

Thats really nice Bob, I'll have to look for one of those. I have the birdbath but I use it as a food dish, lol.
