Need to re-home :O(

Iím needing to re-home my IRNís. When I got permission from my landlord to get birds in the first place he said that if he receives any complaints the birds must go. So I then spoke with my neighbors and asked them to please come to me if my birds are being noisy and bothering them. Iíve had birds for over a year now but the IRNís for only a few months. A neighbor has come to me and said that he hears screaming louder, and more often, then he cares to. We determined that itís the IRNís and if I donít re-home them I may end up being forced to re-home all my birds.

They are terrified of everyone but me, even my son, Conrad, who lives with me. He spends part of his time at his dads and when here spends most of his time in his room, so they donít see him much. When he goes anywhere near the birds the IRNs freak out big time. Screaming and flailing about. The screaming is quite loud and Iím afraid they will hurt themselves.

The problem will be finding them a home because it will be the same no matter where they go.

Oh what a shame I am sorry you are having to rehome them.

I have noticed Bertie our IRN is loud... but he isn't loud very often. Our Rosella is louder when we go into the aviary, he sounds as if someone is trying to murder him

When anyone but me gets close to them they sound, and act, like someone is trying to murder them. :O( If I were in a house I could deal with it, but it's going to be at least a year before I'll be able to move.

I'm currently with my family for a funeral and I thought we were going to that exact area to visit more family but I don't think we are anymore. Otherwise I might have asked about bringing them in/helping you out. So sorry to hear you are having to rehome. I hope you find a good place for them.
