Question Need to identify my parrot

I have adopted a baby parrot
I would love to know which type of parrots so I would be able to take care of him/her

I just bought also for him a cocktail food (small parrots food as it says)

That's a peach faced lovebird. I'm sure the cockatiel food will work.

Definitely a peach faced lovebird but I will have to look up the mutation

One thing I WILL say is you should always learn about the animal you're buying BEFORE you buy it. Proper bird care can be very complicated. Give him time to settle in, lovies are tiny birds with big personalities and you will know it when he comes out of his shell!

He won't get any bigger either, they're small and chunky haha

First of all .. this is my first day in the forum and you guys are helping me aloooooot

THANKS ALOT TO ALL OF YOU ..

about my lovebird.. It was found in the parking lot in one of the buildings ..
She called so many places to give it to the right hands until she reached to my company and I took it as we dont keep birds..

I adopted the bird as he look so amazing..

now its my job to learn and understand him..
He is mostly trying to sleep today as I noticed ..
Im trying to buy him a big cage to have some toys inside as his current cage was used for "red vented bulbul".. but this bird now is always flying around us or on the shoulders

About treats..
I have given him his food the first 2 days and waited until its finished
when it finished and he was hungry I took some of the food in my hand and inserted my hand in the cage waiting for him to eat for 15 minutes but without any luck

do you advise any kind of treat such as nuts or fruits maybe

He needs fresh fruit and veg daily, along with other kinds of foods such as beans. There are some recipes in the nutrition section of different things you can make

Could you perhaps have a good look at him if he is very sleepy? It's usually a bad sign. It's good of you to take him in though!

And is the bulbul yours? They're awesome!

Well he is trying always to hide in dark places and when I check on him he is sleeping..

about the Bulbul.. he fell down from the tree .. he is just a baby dont have a tail and most of his body is bare skin when I took him in ..
now he is flying alittle bit to follow us and also singing when he feels like

So amazing but still so young

he's an adult and in fairly rough condition considering the look of his feathers. get him on a good diet of seed, veggies, fruits, and pellets and he will look much better within the next molt poor guy probably got lost outside since its summer and so many people are leaving windows and doors open with the nice weather...
