Thoughts on this bird stand for medium, smallish type birds

http://www.birdscomfort.com/grapewoo...ay_stands.html

Seems like a decent deal. Some good places I can attach toys and it has places for his food. How will this be for bird sizes similar to senegals and others.

Any other recommendations?

For the size of that play stand it looks like decent deal. I'm trying to picture it if my birds would use something like that, and I just cant see any of them would even go near it- the stand looks very uncomfortable for the birds to stand on.

I have senegal, conures, quaker, and budgies. I have studied my birds and I know they like a bird stand that has wider horizontal bars- all of them enjoy walking back and forth with wider horizontal bar and is more comfortable for their feet.

I think you should make your own bird stand or if you see a stand that has wider horizontal perch area you should get it.

It's up to you, if you can picture your senegal or what ever your future bird is perching on that hideous play stand then go for it.

That looks extremely hard to make. How can I even make that. Are there any videos showing how or instructions?

She bought that play stand and added to some toys to it, it wasn't made. I think there are some instuctions on how to make a play gym floating about somewhere. What I mean is the play stand with branches should go across horizontally for the bird to move back and forth. Renae's play stand was used for my example. Sorry my explaination sucksI know.

Ya renae's stand looks more efficient.

On the one you were thinking about, I think the bird would just stick to one perch, rather than jump around and play,

But you never know... I don't know your birds

Good luck

What you could do is get some perches and place them outside the cage like what I've done for my birds in these pics. Place newpaper underneath the perches to catch any poop droppings. This works just as good as any play stand.

I love the idea of attaching a bunch of perches outside the cage Tippa, I do think that that stand is okay, but I don't think I'd buy it. As others have said, you know your birds
