parrot problems

so i don't believe that im the only one that gets stressed or worried or just very frustrated some times with owning parrots. this thread is just a place to vent, those issues that either you are working on ,already have the answers for or can't really fix right now or ever

mine at this point are the lack of money. i really want to get dobby a friend and my parrents are all for it if i can pay for it which at this point i can't which is annoying.

vent away

I have to fork out 40 for a beak and nail trim for Chalkie tomorrow (though not a parrot) and the consultation at the vets is an extra 26 usually I file it down every now and then but it's going extremely fast now so I believe there is some sort of problem

My Nan thinks the house is a wreck when there's just a bit of dust really. EVERY day I clean up no matter what, I hoover and dust everywhere and wipe down any out of cage poop as soon as it's done. She doesn't agree with the birds coming out because she thinks all they do is poop!

Yup my parents think the birds should stay in their cages.. They don't understand that Teflon is bad, they don't understand that they need to be interacted with..

And worst of all.. They don't understand that 9:00 is night time. And that doesn't mean start stomping around and yelling..

Everyday I repeat the exact same things to them.. And they don't Listen

The only problem im having at the moment is two albino hens not feeding their chicks and im constantly fostering them over. Besides that no complaints here.

That's what I asked about but they just told me it was 26! I might say again while I'm there. She said 'your first consultant with the exotics vet will be 26' and I sat here like HEY!
