Someone on the linnie fourm started a thread in which we list our birds' quirks. I love the thread, but wanted to list my other birds' quirks, too. So I am starting this thread hoping others will join in.
I won't have as many quirks to list as some of you because my birds are young. I'm sure they all develop more as time passes.
Stanley, bourkes parakeet, pulls out my unwanted facial hairs. I don't know how he knows I don't want these, because he doesn't pull out the hairs from my head. He also makes designs with vine balls.
Isaac, splendid parakeet, laughs. He does anything he can think of to annoy Stanley, then he sits and laughs and laughs.
Roni, senegal, throws her own poo if I don't clean it up quickly enough for her. When I am trying to pick them up, she tells the other birds to step up before I get it out of my mouth.
Unnamed linnie (son's bird - maybe he will wait until we know for sure what sex it is
) falls asleep on her face in her tent. She really looks dead, but she always wakes up in a great mood.
I know the rest of you have lots more quirks to report than I have.
