Budgies ruined a perfectly good bedtime!

So I put Sparkle to bed after she finally settled down. She's been super active and needy today, and I just finished playing with her for 4 hours. I turned her in, went upstairs, closed the room door to the budgie room, and then all hell broke loose! Helios the little sh*t disturber he is, starts screaming on top of his lungs and gets the other two budgies riled up. Three screaming budgies echoes through the three levels of the house, and Sparkle starts screaming from underneath her covers! Now I have four birds flock calling at 10:30pm and can't seem to quiet them down.
Gah! Bloody Helios! He's always such a little bugger!

Welcome to my life, with Starling, the oddball creamino linnie, everyone will be quiet, and doing goodnight chirps as they settle down in their tents, and suddenly ling will start contact calling! I'm like STARLING! and she doesn't stop until you either tap on the cage (disturb her) or grab her out of the cage (attention)

A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song.

Took me an hour last night to settle them! Good grief! I think I'll be putting budgies to bed first from now on. Just too much headache...
