Do you prefer small bird or large bird?

Cast your vote please. Judge it yourself what you think is a small and what is a large bird. If you like the one size slightly more than the other then vote for the slightly more. This is a public poll!

I prefer just one large but since I have so many smalls I can't just take the easy route and rehome them all so that I can have the one large bird.

I love both, it was a hard choice but larger birds are more for me. I wouldn't rehome my littles for more big birds, they're just as special

aw, I know it would be difficult wouldn't it( we would rather die wouldn't we than to rehome our little ones). I can't imagine anyone of my flock wanting to live anywhere else, they're just so used to it here

I have rehomed budgies before though, but those were so wild they don't even know the different between me to a stranger , I still felt like poop afterward though, never again if I can help it.

I have one CAG and the rest of my birds are small, maybe not by choice because they need me. I have a special place in my heart for all of them.

I can't choose! They all have their own unique charms. And pros and cons.

I would say large because a TAG is my dream bird, and maybe a mini Macaw one day.

But I just love small birds too... they just have so much spunk and I know with my Budgies they had endless energy! I loved my Hermes because he was super cuddly and just wanted to be with you all day.

If I HAD to pick between a large or small Parrot though and only have one bird I would pick the larger.

I pick small, because I cannot imagine handling something bigger than me, LOL Just kidding. Big birds scare me... I think cockatiels, green cheeks, senegals -those are the sizes I am interested in. Everything else I admire and just look. No touch. LOL

I voted large because my dream bird is a military macaw, though I've never had macaw experience. When i first got interested in parrots, mili's stole my heart, and theyre the only bird that I've learned more about and still love more and more, whereas many of the species I liked on first sight, the more I learn, the less I think it suits me.

I say medium which i consider anything teil to Amazon size. I count jaz and syd as medium not large (makes me giggle when people call the large) because i consider a full sized cockatoo or macaw etc as large.

I don't do small birds apart from linnies! I prefer not worrying about squishing it, losing it etc they poop with more frequency and for some strange reason i prefer big bird noises.

Small! I can't imagine a better bird than my little parrotlet, he has stolen my heart! I think the largest bird I would ever want would be like a medium lory or a Senegal. I'm too much of a sissy to have big birds and I couldn't own something that could easily maim my fingers or face. I have a lot of respect for people that are able to have large birds, they are brave!

I have to vote small. I love my little guys! I'm a confirmed chicken about those big beaks too! My budgies and linnie bite hard enough, thank you very much!!

Although I like large parrots I prefer small ones as pets, because they are the better birds for beginners and fit better into my life.

well i have a budgie and a senegal so i am considering senegal large. and i do prefer larger only because i can handle them better where as even though i love forest to death, it sucks that i cant handle him as well. he is way too flighty where as i can handle mango anyway i want.

It's the bites from the BIG beaks that scare me! If I did get a lory it would be one on the small side.
