Question traveling with my INR

hey guy's we are planing to travel to Namibia witch is a full 2 day's drive do any of you have experience with such long drives and do birds get car sick like dogs or not and how do i transport Alley and maybe a Austin. kind regards bird boy.

I don't think it would be a problem if you kept them in a cage and don't leave them in the car if it is sunny or too cold

Birds can get travel sick. Malibu, my lesser sulphur crested cockatoo, throws up every time he gets in a car without fail (after a ton of screaming of course)

Make sure the carrier is smaller than a normal sized cage. If ever you break sharply, the bird will go smashing into the bars. Same with toys and other perches, get them out. If anything was to happen and you do need to break then that bird will be pelted with toys or fall into other perches. Toys are awful for travelling, they swing everywhere
