Is this anything to be worried about?

Just noticed this yesterday near her eyes. Gemma is almost four months. She acts fine and has normal poops. Should I be worried about this?

I can't tell for sure, but to me it looks like some feathers are growing in. I know my linnies looked like that last week when they molted their head feathers.

My p'let has looked like that in the past during molt, if she is acting fine I would wait and watch.

She looks normal to me, agreed with probably starting to molt. Just gently rub those feathers back and forth a little each day to loosen the sheaths since it's an area she can't really get to for preening. That area and the cheek area happen to be my P'lets favorite scratch place.

Thanks. I figured it was nothing, but just had not seen this before.

Wingnut is molting right now, he looks a bit patchy around his head but lots of pinnies! It doesn't look like anything to be worried about, she looks very healthy to me.
