concerning wings

I wanted to ask if anyones bird every seemed to have more wings on one side than the other. It seems my sun conure lost a wing on one side and on the other side that one is still there. It seems on one side 2 more bight yellow wings have come in where on the other side is still green with some yellow i guess.

The store where i got skittles from cut his wings but i never noticed it before. Will they all grow to be the same size and the same wings on each side. I know this sounds confusing but not sure how to describe it. It just looks like more wings on one side than the other. thanks for any help. I tried to look online for bird wings but could never get anywhere...

Maybe she had a clip, and then she molted some of the clipped primaries.
If they didn't clip the feathers too short, all of them will regrow in the same length.
But if you are too concerned, please post detail photos of the wings!

Now is the time of molting, when the birds lose their feathers and grow new ones. I agree with Karin, it sounds like he is growing in some primaries. Also, I believe that sun conures do go through a color change, which might be why you see different colored feathers on the wings. Remember, the birds do not lose all the primaries on their wings at once, they can still fly, so they also come in at different times and can look like different sizes. It takes a few weeks for the feathers do grow to their full size.

If the store had clipped them then it sounds like they've only done one side They'll grow back though. As Anna said, sun conures change colour from being almost all green to only having green flights and tails so if you're seeing a change then that is most likely why

well the owner did clip them but i didnt notice them being that much of a difference. I do know he lost one feather (the longest one) on one side but the other is still there) Than where the feather is still there he has 3 longer feathers on one side. I cant stand it i think i will cut them if he will let me. I still have not been able to get that bird out of the cage..I am starting to get frustrated..I've had him about a month or more now..I wonder if i ever will get him out? thanks for the info..

Be careful of cutting the feathers. If the bird is molting right now and the new feathers are growing in, they still have a blood supply--cutting them will result in potentially dangerous blood loss! The feathers should not have any white sheath anywhere (check all the way near the skin).
What do you mean that he has not come out of the cage, how do you approach the situation? Maybe some members can give you some help.

Well thanks for the info..I can not get him out of the cage. I have tried leaving the door open ( he won't come out) i tried have tried to get him on a stick (he won't come out) i have tried bating him ( he won't come out) the bottom line is HE BITES when you try to touch his body..I have tried everything that was mentioned. the only one i have not tried is forceing him out..which i don't think i will do because he might not like me after that. Yes any help is needed. He don't seem to want to come out. I think he would love it if i could just get him out. thanks oh and i will leave the wings alone. I think what has happened it lose the long one on one side but the other side still has it and when they clipped him i think they missed to feathers. It looks awful and i will wait and see is the other side catches up..lol thanks everyone you all are very helpful....
