beak, claw trimming?

I was wondering how those of you with larger parrots trim your birds' beaks and claws if needed. The clippers I've seen in pet stores seem much too small for the larger birds. I have a cockatiel, so he's not a problem for me to clip. But I also have 2 large birds, a red-tailed hawk and a great horned owl, that I use for educational programs. Both are non-releasable, having sustained injuries which make them unable to fly. In captivity, the beaks of raptors tend to jet overgrown. Talons, too, but they are not usually as much of a problem. I have not found a good tool to use and thought maybe someone who has a larger parrot might have a suggestion. Thanks!

Would human nail clippers work? I'm not sure about beak trimming. I have seen a lady at the flea market do it to a lovebird with a scissor. I think it would be best to let a vet do the beaks. I think it would be best to have exta help when your doing his nails as well.
