I do not, but I know lots of people who do, including the folks at my bird store. Do whatever makes you comfortable, but was the mix one you originally trusted?

Thanks Shivani for the awesome siggy!

I would probably feed it out and then buy something without peanuts next, but that is just me. If you are really scared, don't use it, or take out the peanuts and feed them to something else - or burn them.

Thanks Shivani for the awesome siggy!

ok.. im going to sort through it tommorow and take out the big nuts.. there are cashews in thier too.. and ill buy a differnt kind next.

i also have a different question:

ice right now is in my bedroom.. and i think she is feeling isolated a bit from the family.. im working with her on the flight suit and she doesnt even care about it soo thats going good..

i want to move her to my bonus room upstairs where she could see everybody.. but there is no door .. so she could fly around, even downstairs to the main floor very easily even to the kitchen, so im nervous about fumes as well..

i will take pictures to give you a better visualization tommorow

its just so hard because my house is an open floor plan so there are basically no doors exept for bedrooms and bathrooms..

but i will get her accustomed to the flight suit so she can spend more time with us down stairs.. any other help would be great thanks!

i give them every now and again as a treat but they arent a regular part of their diet. Maybe I should rethink this

I give Scully peanuts as a reward (not that often though), because he LOVES them! We all like treats once and a while right! Keep it in moderation it's OK, but if you think this stuff is in your peanuts, THROW IT AWAY!!!!!! Better safe than sorry!

Aflatoxins should NOT be as common in cashews as in peanuts. Peanuts grow under the ground. That is why aflatoxins are so prevalent on peanuts. Cashews grow in trees, so wouldn't be any more dangerous than any other tree nuts in that respect.
