raw hide for Parrots?

Ive seen bird toys with chips of raw hide on them.. is this okay for birds??

if it is.. im going to go get those little miniature doggy ones and hang some in ice's cage cause her beak is SHARP!! LOL maybe it will wear it down a bit

soo are they safe? sprayed with anything??

i've heard they can cause obstructions if ingested. so anything ive heard on them was a no. so i wouldnt risk it.

i do have a cement perch and a cholla perch.. lol they seem to sharpen them xD

I, too, have seen this before and so I have a big one that I've given to Alex. However, now that I know there's a possibility that it causes problems when digesting, I don't think I'll have it around him anymore. Thanks.
