Hermes learning to Fly

So Hermes has at least one long flight feather grown back in each wing.
I found out today that he can fly now, albeit very badly.
I took him out of his cage in the bird room today and went to sit down at my desk and he tried to fly away twice, both times he ran into the wall and I had to go rescue him.
I'm just really worried he's going to hurt himself!
Soooo, I'm going to have to teach him to fly I think. I'm guessing that the breeder didn't allow the babies to fledge properly. He was clipped when I got him.

Wish me luck on teaching a bird to fly, LOL.

That's awesome. He will get used to it

A gentle wobble while he is on your hand will help him learn
