Kaytee exact formula recall

So it turns out that Xandir, my baby CAG, has been fed some of the recalled formula. Of the 4 babies he is the only one hand fed from day one (because she had to help him get out of the egg). It's unsure just how much recalled formula he has had but he has been affected. He's doing better now but is underweight and smaller than he should be. Baby #3, his sister, has also been affected just not quite as bad. Babies #1 and #2 are not noticeably affected but they all have been to a vet and tested and we're waiting for the results.

Thanks everyone! Some babies have died because of this mistake. I think because the greys are bigger birds it would take longer/more formula fed to kill them.

So far they are improving really well. Much more active and gaining some weight. I just heard from the breeder and they go to see the vet today. Results form the blood tests in a few days.

My new baby was fed the recalled formula too.
So far he is doing well. I am waiting to bring him home before we run any tests since he is so small (he is a parrotlet) and seems to be doing fine.
Hope that your baby is not too affected.
