Bringing your Bird Outside

Since it's getting nicer and nicer lately in the weather department I was thinking of starting to bring Hermes outside in his cage. (He isn't used to his harness as of yet)
It would be warm enough but the one thing I'd be worried about is that it's usually pretty windy where I live. (Constant breeze, basically)
Would it still be OK for Hermes to be outside if it's breezy all day? I could cover the side of his cage that the wind is coming from, of course.
I'm just asking because I know that "drafts" in houses aren't good for birds.

Thanks.

I'm positive he'll like it! In the wild they have wind, so I don't think there will be a problem as long as it's warm. I'm pretty lucky though, where I live we hardly get wind at all! Make sure to take pics though!

Oh I'm sure he'd like it! I wish he could wear his aviator harness because I would love to take him for walks!

I think I'm gonna get harnesses for them and take them to a local park. I'm sure they'll love that!

I have an inside and an outside cage for Maxx, and he LOVES being outside. I move the cage up against the wall when it is windy.

or when it is not he is out so he can get some sun

Your outside cage looks great! That's a good idea, putting him up against the wall.

Thanks, it works well. He really loves to be outside. I am usually right out there with him, reading. It it does get windy, he just jumps in his Happy Hut. When it gets a bit nicer, he will be outside from 9a-7p daily. He soaks up the sun, takes bathes, and thinks he is in charge of everything that goes on out there.
