night flight

Whilst scattering reindeer food on the lawn the kids inadvertently scared the tiels.
There is a dim light out there so they can see to some degree but probably not the wire.
I can't check them because it makes it worse.
I hope they're ok.
Wait and see I guess.
Let's hope they know their environment well.

Ah Kate I hope they're okay. Night frights are so scary, and far more common in cockatiels. It will be perfectly still in the bedroom and I'll wake up to some seriously hard fluttering from Harvey being spooked!

My budgies had 3-4 frights a week during their first year... Not so much now,... It is an aweful thing to see.

We have a leaky roof in 2 places.
