I have figured it out!

After many unsuccessful attempts at trying to figure out how Oliver likes to bath, I think I've got it. I tried a mister, he never seemed to get wet enough before he was annoyed by the mist. Then I tried bringing him into the shower. That didnt work either. I noticed he really liked trying to bath in his water bowl though, but it isn't big for him to fit in. Well I found a bigger bowl and he seemed to enjoy playing in the water and it was fun to watch!

My African grey hated water. He'd scream bloody murder if I sprayed him with it, and I
never caught him bathing ever. Good for you that you found what works!
