Yes they are very interesting. Mina uses her feet so much and she is becoming more coordinated now. Z my budgie, she is just super active and acrobatic, so always entertaining. My plet on the other hand, an opinionated perch potato.

Side question for you. Do you have any other pets besides your 4 birds?

Interesting video! It was fascinating to watch the different ways that the two species eat. Doesn't it make you wonder why linnies use their feet like big parrots and other small birds like budgies do not? There must be some advantage to it for linnies in their natural environment. Very cool!

My linnies use their feet a lot as well especially to pick up small pieces of fruit or veggie to eat. Oh my opinionated sweet plet is 8 yrs. old still acts like a clown to this day. Other pets you bet! 9 inside only cats My hubby put a screen door on this spare bedroom, with a sunny window, turning it into "my room" My computer and second phone is in the room. When I'm in here the birds are out of the cages the cats on the outside rarely look in. Thanks for asking!
