Thanks. It is actually just fabric from Ikea and I pinned it to the wall. Keeps the wall clean too.

They interact so nicely. Miss Kauai constantly picks on Miss chanel. I have to watch them if both are out. I wonder if it because they are closer in age or they both came into your home fairly close in time?

Honestly, I think it has to do with the 2 birds personalities and whether they like each or not. But younger birds are more adaptable so that could be part of it too.

Mina does not like my plet tho. She tried to chase him and bully him today. she is so sweet so I don't get it. He just minds his business but she pursues him. Afterwards, they were across the room from each and she was giving him the stank eye for several minutes. Who knows. I just don't get her sometimes. I think she is sweet but maybe she is faking it lol.

I replied to you on talkbudgies with the cage links in craigslist. And discussion on the stand.

Mina went after Oliver? Wow. Linnie's are not typically aggressive . Did you see the Linnie's at the bird show? 2 or 3 blue Linnie's and 1 blue parrotlet. The Linnie was definitely afraid to be near the plet.

What a nice bird room you have, Mina and Cozette are so adorable!
And what is Mina eating? Did you make bird bread for the fids?

Yes I did! There were a few people that had a couple at the bird show. I was surprised. They usually only have 1 or 2 if any. Yeah I don't know why Mina doesn't like Oliver. It makes me sad. I just want them to show no interest, they don't have to like each other. I wonder if she is jealous of him?

Anyway, she is now going on 17 weeks old. She has started her first molt. Did you experience any personality change after Miss Chanel molted and went threw puberty? When does puberty start for linnies, 6mths?

What a great idea! I wish I thought of it before I gave my plet blackberries!

Yes, linnie puberty hits around the 6 month mark. I've only been through it with one linnie, Vivian. (My other linnie, Lucy, was one year old when I rescued her from the pet store.) Vivian went from a bird who would never bite and who loved scritches to a bird who bites whenever she doesn't get her way and really dislikes being touched with hands. So it was quite a personality change. However, Vivian still is precious to me....she is curious, loves to explore and is always the first bird out of the cage and onto my shoulder. She often gives me "electric hugs" but never any kisses. I wouldn't trade Vivian for another linnie, ever. I learned to adjust to her personality change and love her as she is now.

M-Nature and her feathered flock:
Lucy Linnie from Tribe of the Lineola
Vivian Linnie from Birds4Alice
JJ the Australian Red Rump (adopted)
Goldie the Australian Red Rump (adopted)
