That is so cute! Is she not annoyed by your smaller flock members?

She's okay with all of the other birds, they all respected her too.

The 2 species I have problem with is the senegal and the conures - they're not allowed out at the same time. Recently the conures escaped their cage while the senegal is out, the sennie got hold of the maroon belly and nearly killed him - busted the maroon belly's beak. The senegal has also busted the other 2 conures' beaks in the past too. Now even the cages have to be covered up when the senegal is out, otherwise he would try to get at the conures through the cage bars.

Wow they really dislike each other! Do you find that your African birds (sennie, CAG and lovie) get on and your South American birds (conures and Quakers) are okay together? Like do you find they stick with their continents?

I can't really see that. The conures when they're in a little gang they don't really like any other birds.. they will tolerate the quakers and the smaller guys..they're scared of the grey so they leave her alone .

The senegal does not like any other birds near him but in a strange way he does like watching others when he's in his cage, he will tolerate all the other birds except for the conures.

The quakers only love themselves but will tolerate the rest of the flock.

The lonely lovebird loves everyone and fearless of any other birds - he likes me the most

In my siggy was me trying to get 3 african birds together in one picture. that is the nearest I can the senegal to the other 2 african birds, any closer he would either bolt it or fight to the death

Your grey is gorgeous!

My sennie chases everybody and everything that gets close to her domain. If they are elsewhere in the room she's fine with them. They just can't get too close.

Haha, they are moody buggers aren't they . I think most senegals are like that. I have seen pictures of them in the wild, they seemed like they prefer it to be on their own in the wild too.
