almost all of the flock out!

today i was able to take 5 of the 8 fids out pickles is coming out daily and bobby comes out once in a while and today i decided to take leons girlfriend (Baby Bird) out! they all did really well. butch wasn't happy about leon talking to baby bird, he kept pecking at her, even when she was being nice and singing to him bobby is kind of a loner on the tree and prefers to do his own thing, same as pickles. the pecking order has been set and they are all getting along. baby bird went from barely tame to tame in well…. 60 seconds she caught on to getting on the perch. she must have been watching pickles! i wish bobby would learn faster the great thing was since everyone was out (except bowie, at least in my room), i could clean all the cage bases! no more dust. i even cleaned the new guys cage which was unbelievably over due.

first, Mrs. Pickles on my window… chewing…

"Baby Bird, Leon is MY friend, not yours!!"

they look so good together!

the lovers leon would be much cooler if he had a crest like a cockatoo!

first meeting each other all together

all of the blues together

you know you're bird crazy when you line up the fids for a family picture

we love chewing on the seagrass mat!

finally getting along…

hanging out on the small hanging gym

i am hoping to have all 5 out every day. i am sure bobby will get used to the perch (just maybe…). i know baby bird will definitely be out every day because she has now tamed herself!

This does look like a lot of fun! They are all so cute. I like your captions, too.

They were having lots of fun and today is a new day! Thought baby bird is new to coming out, she is very comfortable out of the cage. Even her first time out she wasnt the slightest bit nervous!

Great pictures! Budgies are so funny. Like you, I finally cleaned my linnie's cage. She has industrial strength poop so it took some muscle to get the poop removed from the bars of the cage. Next is Miss Kauai's cage which should be easier to clean.

i just took bowie out! i clipped a few feathers because he was scared and flew behind some things, but once he got on the tree he was fine. everyone is nice to him and he seems really comfortable. he is just really clumsy because of he bad foot. i have pals to make him some flat resting areas in the future
