Pics of Elmo

Hello, here are some pictures of lovely Elmo Im glad to report that ive taken a step back and let him settle in. Naughty mummy and daddy being too keen, poor elm.

Hope this works! photobucket said ths is the link for forums so here goes

We visited Elmo every day until we were allowed to take him. Here he is with me at pet shop on hand, excuse my face.

And here he is with my boyfriend on our visits.

Here he is on the ceiling of the cage, knawing the paper i'd popped on top.

Here he is on our second night together, chewing my boyfriends collar,

On my jogging bottoms, chewing merrily.

Preening my boyfriend's hair as he wiped up the poops

Hope you enjoy,

He's on one foot on his cage door watching me, dozing off after many carrots and green peppers, yum xxx

Thanks Tippa! Can you see the same glint in his eye that I can Its strange it's like he's experimenting with his voice today - different tweets, squawks, kissy cheeps. And he is definitely speaking but I dont know what he's saying. And dnt think im mental but not last night, the night before when I covered him up for birdy bed time, I said night, he clicked in his throat (no idea what that means but i clicked sofly back) then said night once again fromthe landing and he said, clear as day "Gis'a kiss" (good god he's a cockney ) I was stunned LOL. I went to bed, heart racing. Honestly, if this is the reactions I get with my birdies, I dread to think what I'd be like with children hahaha.

Awww, he is a pretty little thing! And they do have the cutest, raspy little voices, don't they?

You might want to give him a little hut, all four of mine adored them!

Ooh a hut, that sounds brilliant, ivr got a snuggle cosy hut but i dont know where to hangit - would he need a perch outside in order to get in? Lol, sorry I sound so dense!

Thanks parrotlets rock. He is soo cute Hes got quite a shrill squawk, out volumes my three budgies on a noisy day...went round to the neighbour to explain the situation and hhe said he couldnt hear a thing! Phew, Id hate the landlord to evict us :O he'd hhave four angry birds on his hands

Birds do have natural noisy times... usually one in the morning and one in the later afternoon... they get quite vocal then... mine ( I have 5 budgies, a parrotlet, a greenie and a tiel) also get noisy if the tv volume is up... they seem to find it as competition...lol

Yeah, maybe this is just his noisy time and im just being paranoid as its (naturally) louder than my 3 budgies and im in a terraced house.

Wow 5 budgies and a gcc and the rest? do you ever let your budgies out with the others? I wasnt going to really try as he doesnt know them well enough, and he could hurt them with that beak!

Mine are English budgies very handsome, theyve not acted any differntly since we got elmo. Very welcoming :P

I allow my budgies tiel and parrotlet to interact... my green cheek is a people bird and does not like any of the other birds and yes could easily kill them if she desired to. My parrotlet loves one hen budgies and tolerates the rest of the budgies most of the time... if he gets to annoyed or aggressive with them he goes in the penalty box ( his cage). My tiel is scared of the parrotlet and avoids him at all costs.. she is very wary of the budgies unless she sneaks into their cage to bath in their water dish...lol The budgies... well they are budgies.. happy go lucky bits of fluff that bicker and fight like siblings ( well 4 of them are siblings the other one is their mother...lol) They just do their own thing.

aww your flock sound adorable, parrotlets rock. Elmo's had his feathers clipped so he cant fly Ernie, blue budgie, stopped flying after his buddy Bert died (RIPxxx) Elvs not the best flier, but eric does laps round the room from the top of their cage over the telly over the sofa and back lol. Elmo looked bemused the first time he saw eric overhead.

Aww thank you Daisy. I must say, although I have budgies , I am complete conure novice. Its one week today since he was uprooted an placed with us hope he's enjoying it
