Talking Meet Mush and Tutti (Pictures)

As i'm new to this forum i thought id put some pictures up of my guys for you all to meet!

Mush is my suspected male quaker, born 17th September 2012 whom I've had since around six months old. On his hatch certificate hes down as a blue quaker, but he has areas of green and blue (mainly green), so any help with his color mutation would be appreciated! Hes an excellent talker and loves attention, although hes sociable, if i'm about he doesn't want to go near anyone else and gets extremely jealous of my girlfriend!

Tutti is my blue male Indian Ringneck (his ring is just starting to come through now) born April 12th 2013 whom I've had since roughly three months old. Hes just starting to talk and let me handle him more, he can be nippy at times but i'm sure hell grow out of that, hes extremely curios and wants to get into everything!

Both are hand reared and have always had their wings clipped, they share a cage with a patrician down the middle and get along fairly well, gradually getting better, there's the occasional scrap, which involves them both screeching and wing flapping but not really doing much else. The sight of a monkey nut soon breaks them up and has them charging towards me instead! There main food is Harrison, with fruit given daily and seed at the weekends only.

If there's any stickies i should be made aware of please point me in the right direction!

Its only their flight feathers that are clipped, although it still doesn't stop them having a pretty far leap aided with frantic flapping on occasions!

They're beautiful . I think your quaker's colour is called aqua blue, there isn't a mutation name for it I don't think https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=aq...l%3B1280%3B960

Welcome to the forum! Your birds are beautiful

I would say that the mutation of your quaker could be turquoise? He's very blue!

Smile

I've got a feeling hes a green and blue split, the pet shop where he and toot both came from (http://www.midlandparrots.com/) regularly stocks a large amount of blue, green and yellow quakers all hand reared.
