Crazy Antics All Over Again

I've made a couple threads about my conure liking to hang upside down off peoples faces and acting like a spazzoid, but I finally managed to catch it on video, even though its just phone-quality.

The first one is something he does a lot where he scratches his head with his foot, like a dog, but then just kinda forgets his foot is up there. I've seen him asleep with his foot still at head level. It can't be comfortable! And pardon for my messy hair-ness, I slept in super late.

Second one is him rolling over on his own, he looks a little like drunk acrobat sometimes when he does it. Every once in awhile when he rolls like that, he lets go and just kinda tumble rolls down to my stomach and then climbs right back up again to do it again.

Thanks guys (: it really is so much fun to watch. I know its not always best to have birds on your head cause it can be a bit of a power play, but I've never had any issues with him behavior wise. Mostly just acts like a dork, lol!

Loved your videos! I subscribed to your channel so I won't miss any of Reptar's adventures. He is certainly a goofball! I love the one where his foot is just stuck up by his face, and also where he falls asleep on his back.

No, no power play, that's just a myth. What he does with his foot scratching under and on the sides of his beak is something lots of parrots do when they are drowsy (I always think it's like sucking their thumb).
