Hey - Where's MY bath? Get Busy Mom!

I've tried many different ways for Libby to bathe, but she seems to like doing it herself in a large shallow tray inside her cage -- EVERYTHING gets wet, including me.....because....well.....don't know how this happened, but she'll ONLY bathe if I am "jiggling" the water, like a whirlpool!!! Who on earth spoiled this bird????

First pic - Okay, get busy, where's my bath water?

AHHH, MUCH BETTER!

Yes, I admit it, I'm in love!

aww cute, and thank you, you have answered something I've been wondering about. One of my Conures too, like yours needed a bit of encouragement from me, I have to splish-splash the water with my hand before he jumped in to bathe

CUTE!!!!!

My Gracie loves baths/showers. She showers with me almost every morning, and then she will frequently take a bath in her water dish, and if I put a bowl of water on the counter, she'll jump right in! Such a clean little birdie

tippa - My husband laughs when I do the "whirlpool" for Libby! He says she really has it made! I have to keep the water moving the whole time she's bathing or she'll stop and jump out! GEESH!

Kristen - Thanks! I love her like crazy, even if somebody spoiled her......no, I don't know who did it.....why are you looking at ME????

Stacie - I'd be afraid to take either of my birds into the shower with me! At my old age, they'd probably fall off their perch laughing!!!

YOU DID! Luckily she's already sleeping, so can't see your post!

By the way, she splashes a bit (while I'm jiggling the water), then stops and looks at me (I'm sitting on the floor in front of her cage). If I've looked away, she stops and stares at me until I look at her. So then I end up with completely wet eye glasses! I also have to keep telling her how beautiful she is, what a good girl she is, yippee, stuff like that. What can I say, is "spoiled" the word you're looking for? Maybe she wants me to applaud too?
