I wish you would use normal photo host like Photobucket, Daisy. That took me 2 minutes for that one page to fully load up. Sadpanda photo host you're using is rubbish. Anyways about your gorgeous little GCC. I am so jealous, blue yellow sided (turquoise) is soooooooo beautiful. Any ideas for a name? I think that is a boy (round head)

Okay next time I'll use another photo host, it takes like a few seconds to load on my computer

I'll see about names when I get him/her... they might look different in person I'm open to name suggestions though

Took forever for it to load for me too. Do you resize your pics to 640x480?

He/she is a cutie. When do you get him/her Daisy?

If telling the sex of a GCC can be done by looking at the bird's head then I would say yours look more like my female. I have just been comparing the head shape of my male GCC to my female. You just have to think of a unisex name or if some can suggest a name for you.

My Senegal has been frisky with my hands lately and has been displying his heart shaped wings, so even without DNA sexed, sometimes the clue of which sex is in the bird's behaviour. See what you can find out when you get him/her

Oh and Tippa I'll post pics on here straight away when I get it so you guys can see what you think, it may not be 100% accurate but never mind, I'll decide whether it looks male or female and then choose a name

I dont think knowing 100% of the sex of your bird is important unless you plan to breed it. If you could ask the breeder when you see him if he thinks your GCC is male or female. Sometimes breeders have good knowledge, experience and can tell the sex of their babies with reasonable accuracy.

With my GCC he was already DNA tested by the breeder before I got him. My Senegal isn't DNA tested. There were another 2 Sennie sibblings there and straight away I can see 2 males and 1 female and the breeder said the same. I chosen what the breeder said was the male and I thought was the male too. Now that he is with me he is frisky when he on my hands, spreading his wings into like a heart shape when he is frisky, so 99% sure will do for me

Oh, what a cute baby! I never had Libby DNA tested. I wanted to name her "Libby" (she's a Pineapple GCC), so "decided" she was a "she". The groomer at the pet store, who is also a breeder of GCC's, said she's definitely a female, so good enough for me! He said most of them are females -- wonder why that is?

Daisy,
I, too, have to wait for long periods of time for many of your photos to load. I don't know anything about computers and loading photographs, but just thought you should know.

Your conure is gorgeous. I notice that you have some names you like for both sexes, so maybe they would be good choices, unless you will have the bird sexed very soon. I am funny about it and can't pick a name until I know the sex. Perhaps that is because we were told Stanley was a male, but she is a female. Oh well, Stanley is still her name.

Tippa, Roni does that thing with her wings, too, always has - she is a DNA'd female. That seems to be a senegal thing. Roni actually does it less now that she is older, because I always look away whenever she starts it.

Thanks Shivani for the awesome siggy!

Nanay, thank you! I'm not actually going to get the bird sexed, so I think I'm just going to have to decide what they feel like etc. Like I always thought Marvin would be a guy, it just seemed to me that it would be, well he is a she! So you never know. I'll just choose a name and if the bird seems to fit it then that's cool by me

The picture took forever to load today for some reason when it never does on mine, I'll stop using that image hosting site and start using tiny pic or photobucket
