Parrotlet reaction to a new food dish

Hi All!
I hope you are doing well. I wanted to share this hilarious video of Oliver & Gemma reacting to a new food dish. I later had to remove it because Gemma thought it would make a good nest even though she sat in it face first with her butt hanging out .

It's cute when she's trying to bite the hole. Are those dishes convenient? I always thought they looked cumbersome to clean every day...not to mention I'm always dropping bird dishes

I ended up not using them because of her trying sit in it with her butt hanging out. I think they are ok if you attach them to the cage. Otherwise, there is a hole in the back where the bolt is removed and food will spill out if you aren't careful. Attaching them is a pain tho because then you cant easy take them in and out you have to unbolt them every time. So no, I wouldnt recommend them lol.
