New pics

It's been awhile since I have tried to bring things up to date.
And will make an effort to get a thread up soon.
But here are a few photos for now.
As you will see I made a new siggy of the guys who were killed.

It took a fair bit of time before I could look at them to even think about the work I had to do to get this sorted, But worth the effort. So very pleased that someone posted a decent pic of the cloud for my back ground shot.

Got a great shot of four of my six birds on my shoulders. This was a very first. I had just walked int the bird room after a messy day at work. And they all wanted to be with me.

Alex, Indy, Sophie, and Bubbles.

I gave them a few hours out in the aviary a few days ago as it was not too bad a day.

And a view into the aviary from the door.

The sleeping branches are up above where the door. And as you can see the aviary is closed in for winter. Only the end where the door is has just mesh. To keep the weather out during winter.

Sophie

A tribute to my lost ones. RIP.

Thank You.
Yes made the panels to close in under the deck.

The above are before I put the plastic sheets up for winter. the righthand end is just the plastic sheeting, as the wind comes in that way.

A tribute to my lost ones. RIP.

Those are great pictures. Love the picture of your current flock "flocking" to you.

That is a very nice signature, the cloud looks like a flying bird.

wow Clive that is all amazing your quite the handy man... They must love their own little space outside to be able to use it in winter is also awesome! do you get rough winters or calm winters... here in Calgary it gets cold I would never be able to ahve my birds outside even in the chinook weather we get as weather chages here in minutes, it's a running joke just wait ten minutes and the weather will change. you can actually drive from one end of our city to the other and hit different kinds of weather. I have driven from the far N.E all through the city had rain and thunder stoms in one area, snow in another, sun and warm weather in another with cloudy no sun in another all within an hour of driving around this city.. It is really quite funny

Thanks ~Drini~ (Other Forum)

Oh Clive what a beautiful siggy and tribute to your beloved birds. And the background is just perfect with the cloud looking like a flying bird.

Great pictures of your current guys and just goes to show how much they love you and trust you. You should be very proud.

And I love your aviary. It is just ideal. I have been wanting to build an area like that under my awning at the back at least I started until money and health ran out. It is a back verandah half closed in at the bottom and two ends and wired in at the top of the open area, with a laundry tub and hot and cold running water and the rest of the awning wired in for my tame birds and their cages. The closed in verandah doubling as a hand raising room, with a divan and coffee table as a relaxing area for the birds to socialize with me and others for their out of cage time.
