My new CAG Cozy <3

I ordered a bunch of stuff for her, Harrison's high potency, bene-bac, red factor palm oil etc, and also ordered a bird e-collar for her in case she self mutilates/draws blood as her previous owner said she would do that sometimes

What a sweetie! She will thrive if you give her the attention and love she needs, here's hoping all the activity and bird noise in the house makes her perk up and feel more at home.

Congrats again.

Oh and forgot to mention she's just in this travel cage for work, well not in it but in a giant cat cage with the travel cage as a base for perches and dishes, she had a nice bath in it and is quite content! I have another double tomorrow and then we'll go home .

I'm hoping soon! I can't wait till she can be free in the bird room with the others, I think that will really help, but I want her to have her flight before she's left free all the time I love her so much <3

Oh yeah he's a funny boy! I don't think he's all the way there in the head but he's the gentlest conure, he's never once biten, he doesn't play with toys but really likes to rub against cloth, so I make cloth toys for him, he really just likes to be with you all the time, he's my angel conure and Russell's my devil conure lol always into mischief, like Russ will chew doors, huge gaping holes lol so when I get my house I'm making a wrought iron door for the bird room.

Awww thank you ! I love her so much and I'm so happy to have her in my life, she's the sweetest most gentle natured CAG I've ever met <3

I made her a little sock sweater because she seems a bit cold, also in hopes that she'll pick the sweater instead of her feathers, they are all starting to come in so they must be itchy, I also spray her with an aloe and water mix to reduce the itchiness, and have started with chamomile tea in her drinking water half the day to calm any stress issues

LOL! The look on her face.

So tell us about her so far, does she mind you petting her already? Does she talk or has she repeated anything to you yet?

Is she interested in hearing the other flock members? Details!!!!

Her face and head feathers are stunning, I really hope she gives the plucking and grows back her feathers I can see how beautiful she would be.

Hahaha yes this was while she was tearing at the sock and I stopped her a moment, so she's looking like so irritated at the sock, but I suspect in a week or so shewill be used to it.

Shes amazing, she's the most gentle loving grey I've ever met, when I uncovered her this morning she ran over to my arm and hopped up and said gimme a kiss, I kissed her beak and she said mwah!! She started letting me pet her last night and really loves to be pet but not over pet, not like my cockatoo who would be pet forever lol, but she loves to be with me, and will sit and preen my hair and eat lunch with me, she says tons but most of the phrases she's still shy about and says them while I'm in the other room, she's said how about that, come here *clicking sound, come here, meow meow meow, step up, pretty bird, and the ones she's confident to do around me are a car noise and farting lol, and she'll say some stuff in my ear quietly, she's just the most lovely bird in the world. A bunch of downys came in today that she hasn't touched at all.

I heard can also be digestive upset so propiotics, and eliminating peanuts, sunflower seeds, wheat, and soy is a start but she's a peanut addict, I'm letting her keep her same diet a few only days till she's settled more and then I'm going to slowly wean her off. The new diet I'm doing is Harrison's high potency, with some soaked organic seeds, a bit of alfalfa, and kelp powder, a bit of hemp seeds(has helped some pluckers) some raw blended coconut so keep her skin from drying out and getting itchy, bene-bac, chamomile tea in her water half the day, spray bath with aloe to help with any itching, and fruits, veggies and since I'm vegan eating off my plate what I make lol.

She's not met them yet because we're still at work ha-ha I work doubles on the weekend, I may bring her to work on the weekends if it doesn't stress her out, I'm done in 2.5 hours and am excited to see her reaction to the other birds, I may do a bit of a shorter quarantine because I've known her a month and nothings come out and none of her other birds were sick just because I don't want her to start plucking if she gets anxious from not being able to see them, after she can go in the bird room, I'll keep Russell my sun conure locked while I'm at work and probably let her just loose as long as all the other birds are being gentle with her, but I'm not too worried everyone besides Russell's really respectful in the bird room, but I'll do supervised visits till I'm sure, I think being free will really help the plucking,I'm hoping she bonds to my goffins cockatoo cause they are just the right size for each other, and then hopefully she'll feel more secure since he'll be around all the time, eventually I'll let Russell out when I'm gone but not until she can fly, he doesn't really bug big birds because he knows they can kick his butt, but I want to be sure with him

She sounds amazing, you've had her a couple of days and she jumps up to greet you in the early morning and give kisses is so sweet. Its great she's chatting and letting you pet her so she is adapting well to you.

This sounds like she will fit in really well with you and the flock. I can't wait to hear more about how she settles and gets use to everyone.

Thanks guys she is such an angel, honestly one of the sweetest birds I've ever met, she's never once tried to bite since she's been here, she's just so so gentle and so sweet. She's growing out lots of feathers and hasn't plucked once
