Hahaha yes this was while she was tearing at the sock and I stopped her a moment, so she's looking like so irritated at the sock, but I suspect in a week or so shewill be used to it.
Shes amazing, she's the most gentle loving grey I've ever met, when I uncovered her this morning she ran over to my arm and hopped up and said gimme a kiss, I kissed her beak and she said mwah!! She started letting me pet her last night and really loves to be pet but not over pet, not like my cockatoo who would be pet forever lol, but she loves to be with me, and will sit and preen my hair and eat lunch with me, she says tons but most of the phrases she's still shy about and says them while I'm in the other room, she's said how about that, come here *clicking sound, come here, meow meow meow, step up, pretty bird, and the ones she's confident to do around me are a car noise and farting lol, and she'll say some stuff in my ear quietly, she's just the most lovely bird in the world. A bunch of downys came in today that she hasn't touched at all.
I heard can also be digestive upset so propiotics, and eliminating peanuts, sunflower seeds, wheat, and soy is a start but she's a peanut addict, I'm letting her keep her same diet a few only days till she's settled more and then I'm going to slowly wean her off. The new diet I'm doing is Harrison's high potency, with some soaked organic seeds, a bit of alfalfa, and kelp powder, a bit of hemp seeds(has helped some pluckers) some raw blended coconut so keep her skin from drying out and getting itchy, bene-bac, chamomile tea in her water half the day, spray bath with aloe to help with any itching, and fruits, veggies and since I'm vegan eating off my plate what I make lol.
