Dexter

These pictures are a little delayed cause I haven't had the internet but these were taken a few weeks ago. He is getting a lot more black on his beak now and I think he looks so cute!

In the first one he fell off my hand haha

he is! And such an unusual colour. I know that somebody has another one on here called Ricky and it looks just like Dexter only his already has the black beak they also have another green cheek called Lucy but she's a turq cinnamon I think

I love his colors. Why is he not listed in your sig?

Daisy,
Is his chest really yellow? It appears yellow in the pictures. I've never seen a green cheek that color in real life.

Thanks Shivani for the awesome siggy!

Bob the birds in my sig are my hands on birds, there's Dexter, Picasso, Chewee, Marvin, Joey and Blackjack. Underneath that I have the college birds and my Harris' hawk but for some reason the siggy was playing up and I couldn't have the icons for the 3 birds (OWA, CAG and Quaker) so I just had to list them underneath sorry for the confusion but he is the first icon haha! I couldn't find an icon for his actual mutation but I have the one for the normal turq.

And Nanay, he is all yellow down his front, all the way to his tail. His tail is silver and almost black in colour. The rest of him is a really light blue and has yellowy green cheeks and a little black cap on his head! So cute! He also has a little mustache of bright red above his beak (his beak is now turning colour!). He's an odd one I'll give you that.

That sounds beautiful! I had no idea a turquoise mutation could retain the yellow.

Is Lucy a turquoise mutation, too, then? For some reason I thought she was green.

(This is really bad. I know. I'm asking questions about another member's bird, and I can't even remember in which member's flock Lucy lives.)

Some day I will have to see one of those mutations in person, but I hear the blues on the turquoise mutations vary from bird to bird.

Dexter's blue is pretty blue, isn't it?

Thanks Shivani for the awesome siggy!

Got ya. Dexter is a real looker, I didn't realize they had that much yellow either.

I also have turquoise hair

Thanks though everybody!

I can't think of the members name (I feel awful) but I know their username starts with ACE and then is followed by numbers I think. I know his one conure Ricky is the same as my Dexter and Lucy is a turquoise cinnamon! Dexter's blue is very... in your face? He looks like a little macaw

I wish I could see him in person, Daisy. Why don't you ship him over for a view?
