It's great you're teaching him so young how to handle animals. It could become his work someday! Just another future talkparrots member!

Thanks, thats my baby tank! I used to have a much bigger tank with some great looking tropical fish but I parted with it a couple of years ago to make way for a big parrot cage! Lol

I would love to have another big tank or possibly a marine tank but they so damn expensive to run and it takes a lot of time and effort to help keep them clean!

Thats a fair price you paid! They burn a lot of electricity for the heaters and pumps then there is the time and effort to take water out of the tank and fil back up and cleaning the filters etc!

Baby Tiels, Rio, my son and both parents working a 40 hour week each doesnt leave much time,

Here is a pic of my old tank.

A big Pleco and a cat fish are hiding in the cave on the left of the picture.

I kept the Tiger Barbs in a school of 6 and they didnt bother too much of my other fish. The Angels used to nip at my Pleco but they soon backed off with the sheer size of him, lol.

My favourite fish were the breeding pair of Blue Arcara's! they were just awesome to watch.......especially when my wife was watching her soaps, lol.

Ye most of my pics make the water look very green but if you wait till its dark outside, turn all the lights out except the tank light and take a picture, it should turn out ok. Best to do it right after a change of water too, lol.
