Suprise!

I'm currently using my boyfriends laptop and stuff so I'm really struggling to get any pics or videos up from the national exhibition but I couldn't wait any longer to show you my new buddy. I promise promise promise that I will get the exhibition pics n vids up asap, as well as the new ones of Dexter I promised a while back

Anyways, HERE HE US!

TAADAAAAAA!!

Just a little bit of info: His name is Pickles, because... he looks like a pickle really haha. He is DNA'd male and is a normal green cheek conure. I wanted a yellow sided and a turq GCC and I've ended up with a YSTGCC and a normal coloured GCC. Nevermind! He is this years bird, but I'm not sure of his hatch date though I'd say he was a bit older than Dex. I actually bought him as a maroon bellied conure. The cages are dark so to me he looked like one because he seemed very dark in colour. When I got to the car I realised he was a green cheek! I was a bit down about it but I loved him as soon as I saw him so I don't really care. He only cost me 50. He is not hand tame and has not ever been handled. He came to me and within one day I have him all over me and letting me give him scritches, I'll post the video of it asap! He gets along brilliantly with Dex and I've never seen him so happy!

I'll keep you all updated on my progress training a totally wild bird hehe!

Thanks everybody I'm waiting for Dex's beak to turn black, now THAT will be awesome :3 and thanks, me and Jack had to go through so many names before we got Pickles. At first he was Nacho haha. And he isn't that naughty. He's less of a brat, I think its because he's parent reared. Though he's more snuggly than Dexter haha!

That is a surprise, Daisy! goodness he is gorgeous . I can see him flaring his tail feathers, that's sign of aggression. Beware, that could be trouble for Dexter. Congrats, Daisy!

He was shaking his tail and I caught I'm in the moment. He'd poofed up and let me give him scritches. He LOVES Dexter. They try and squeeze into their cozzzy hut and they are virtually inseparable haha! I knew he wasn't a maroon bellied though because he looks nothing like yours he's got less green, no gold bars and doesn't look like one in general. But thank you he is real gorgeous. Were your conures parent raised? I swear you said one was?

On the far left of my siggy is my GGC, she is parent reared. Normal mutation conure bites are alot more deadlier than any other mutations. When she bit me, I cried very powerful bite! I have tamed her down though.

Yours might not be a full GCC. He might have some Maroon bellied mixed in. At some angles I see see some Maroon bellied feature in yours. I think some people does cross breed Maroon bellied and GCC.

Very but your Tai has got golden barring on his chest and a tad more green on the face. Mine has silvery and some gold on his chest. I dunno, I think he could be a hybrid. I don't mind :P I'd say he was. He was labelled as a MBC

He looks waaaay too similar to Tai, only Pickles has more white on him which is why I thought he was a GCC. Also, I replied to you on that macaw thread
