Just some new pictures

Yeah, I've got even more! Look at how dark Dex's beak is getting, and that big coral patch on his belly!

Now I know that they're about the same size?

Cockatiels are a tad bigger. My hopes were to show the size difference between the two! And I haven't had the internet for ages so I haven't uploaded any pictures recently except for a few of Pickles on my boyfriends laptop so now they're all coming in haha!

Ok,
Now I REALLY must see Dexter, lol.

After posting on the other thread that I was shocked that he retained that coral color and the yellow, I remembered that there is a par blue mutation of scarlet chested parakeets that retains a coral color like that where the red normally is, so I guess it is the type of blue mutation that it is. It isn't removing all of the yellow, just part of it, or something.

OH, forgot to mention, but Pickles and Joey are beautiful, too. I'm glad to see Joey getting along with everyone so well.

Thanks Shivani for the awesome siggy!

Thank you Nanay! I was absolutely amazed to see that coral bit. He's moulting like crazy now so I assume it's just come through from his first moult. He is getting a lot darker in the beak and his blue is more vivid, his cheeks are also going a bit emerald. The coral bit was only noticed when I took these photos! I had a good look at him a few days ago and I was shocked to see it! I thought the TYSGCC was just blue ontop and white-ish underneath. He looks a lot like a black capped conure to me.
