New family love!

Starburst has started playing with the kids, and even let me help preen the back of his head today.

Great pics! I'm happy to see the kids are enjoying the newest addition to the family.

This pic is amazing you have really made a true friend if you can get your birds trust this quickly and it will lay on its back for you.

Yes, very surprising and rewarding. He shakes his wings up and down and screams hello as soon as I get home. I just have to say I'm here, and give kisses, and he calms down. Our green cheek has even started to come out more (he isn't hand tamed yet), even letting the kids say hello I couldn't be happier with my decision!

I have often heard that an non hand tame bird will start to respond to their owners when they see they have another bird that is on their humans hands playing and interacting to them.

Your green cheek might soon end up on your hand with the new bird getting to know it as well and becoming more close to your and your family while happily trusting you.
