Aww, what a cutie! He has fashion sense - he wanted to match!

Here are my mom's parrotlets, Midge and Soleil. Forgive Midge's feathers - she was plucking herself this breeding season, it was her first. That was why we got her Soleil as a companion, so she can... ahem... vent her sexual frustrations on something other than her feathers

They're are sooooooo cute.. I wish so much that we could get them here, it really sucks, the closest bird to a parrotlet would be a budgie probably, lol.

They do ahve major personality...( and major attitude ...lol) in a tiny body. They are funny little stinkers. My p'let and budgie are used to having cooked food every morning as well as sprouts and veggies. If they don't get it by 8 am the p'let starts chirping in a GET MT MY BREAKFAST kinda way...even tho they both have lots of seeds and pellets in their cages 24/7 .

Haha, I like the one of him propped between his cage and ladder. I always love seeing photos of those two together!

Hmm... I would say... a 4? But I've been bit by big macaws so... :stickouttongue: I think lovebirds bite harder because a p'let is more likely to just pinch you and let go, lovebirds will grab and chew. The worst part of a p'let is they ALWAYS seem to go for the cuticles on your fingers! I've rarely been bitten so hard that it draws blood by p'lets, tame and untame, it's just a really hard pinch and, like i said, usually on fingertips or cuticles so it hurts because of the location!

Lovebirds, not necessarily because they're stronger, but because the intentions are undeniable.

thanks you two
I asked that because i had a lovie , Iris who was abuse and was a bitter. I had to get stiches in my lip because i asked for a kiss () And when she'd bite , she'd grind her beak untill i couldnt hold my breath anylonger.

See Im saving for a linnie for the spring ( im getting one from Kingdom of little friends ) and if she cannot ship still because of the wether id be getting a plet , and then a linnie.. something like that
