Niko is definatly feeling better

I had this box sitting next to his cage and he decided he wanted it so, he has decided it is his new toy. It won't hurt him will it?

Oh well done Niko so glad he feels better. I can't see what would be wrong with cardboard. As long as he's only shredding it

aww that's great he is getting better. He looks happy so we're all happy too. I have seen people made bird toys from cardboard boxes so it should be safe.

Go Nico! I think he's discovered a new talent!

I don't think boxes hurt anybody. I do look out for staples and things before I hand them over, but my birds love destroying rolls inside paper towels and toilet tissue, small boxes from grocery store packaged food like Cream of Wheat and rice. They truly enjoy shredding the intruders. The senegal is so funny, hiking his wings up high and running to jump on it before beating it silly.

Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly.
And never regret anything that made you smile

I just had a vision of our sennie hannah trying that. She is the most ungraceful bird ever and it would just end in a catastrophie(sp)
