He has no neck feathers, no leg feathers and none under an on top of his wings. He came to me like that at 18 months old. He plucked at first but he never plucked since. He was kept in a horrible place really. I mean. Bleh. I have tried not to think about him there but I can't not really. The person keeping him had him in something he couldn't even turn around in in the back of an old car on her farm. She had loads of poultry who were taken care of fine but Joey was not. It was filthy in that car. I got him for 15 and he was worth so much more. He's so funny! He's really sweet an friendly too.

Anyways, the feather follicles are too damaged to grow back so he is forever a beautiful baldy

Me too! He's a wonderful fella though I don't think anybody else would put up with the chronic screaming

Ahahaha, maybe. :P Cockatiels can be louuud!!
At the Parrot meeting the other night Hermes was on my shoulder when he noticed my plugs in my ears and he started SCREAMING at them and omg that hurt my ear, LOL.

Cockatiels can be so loud! Kya is definitely a female but she is very loud, I've never heard a female like it!
