Clyde bothering Kona

He loves other birds, but just a bit too much! They usually just fly away from him but he's very persistent. He just wants to sing to them and preen them, not remotely aggressive, but they can't stand him. In the future he'll be getting another Amazon pal but for now, the others can try and tolerate him

He's totally not trying to copy Kona

Kona bluffing

A good example of both threat displays from an Asiatic species and an Amazon. Zons hold their feet up and Asiatics bluff and lunge without actually doing anything

Silly birds!

Thanks Abby! Doesn't think much of humans but other birds are the BEST

Aww bless them. Some beautifull pictures!

Jazzy likes 'daddy' and just tollerates everyone else. Syd likes her company but normally from a distance. Neither of them much like sharing their cage tops lol.

Thank you :D I don't know why he's so fascinated with other birds, but he definitely prefers their company. I've never seen him so happy or active until now

Haha who knows! Well jazzy is very quiet and dainty so we think its a girl...and Clyde loved singing to her like you say and following her around...but if he fancies Kona who knows!? Lol!

I think he just likes other birds company ;) we will find out!

Abby, I didn't want to sex by blood and being as he doesn't have any chest feathers bar 3 or so I didn't want to put him into plucking mode having pulled out some of his only feathers. He will be sexed in the next couple of months if he gets a fully feathered body :D
