yup, I think so at least. You could try posting their most recent pics on Talk Budgies and get some more opinions if you'd like. I don't think you need to change they names they're already stuck, and very cute!!

I agree with Kate, I was just going to post about that seeing all of these IRN's intrigues me and I want one some day! are they a difficult bird? are they similar to conures in personality? That last photo of Solo and Marley is just precious

I personally don't think they're anything like conures personality-wise. I think a few IRN such as Solo are one off birds. They're usually pretty hands off and not the affectionate type. They usually hate other birds and have even been known to kill each other (like, same species). I think they're more suited as an aviary bird more so than a companion parrot, but I'd love to breed some one day and hand raise the babies so I could see how they turned out

If you want a similar looking bird but with a more stable and forgiving personality, I highly recommend Alexandrine parakeets

I disagree that they are more aviary birds , they have that reputation mostly due to the fact that they go through a bluffing stage between about 1 and 2 and they can be pretty unforgiving at times but if you get a hand raised baby that you have time and patience for they are just little clowns who want to be in and around every thing you do on the other hand they are also pretty good at self entertainment , they are by no mean cuddly birds so don't expect it , they tend to do things on their own terms but they will steal your heart

I wasn't referring to their bluffing stage. I've noticed all of the Asiatic birds bluff before and after that anyways. I'm referring to the fact they need daily handling to keep them tame. They can be unforgiving if you don't get them out for a day or so. I also think the same about the rosella family. But I did say above that I think Solo is one of the one off handful of IRN that are nice and steady

- Alexandrine parakeets Holly, George, Koda & - Crimson rosella Kasumi Orange winged Amazon parrot Paulie

Yeah I have heard that but I guess solo is a little more steady as he can go days with no handling just talking etc and he is still the same as ever I think I just get a little defensive about IRNs because solo got me into parrots and I think they are often overlooked or dismissed because they take that extra effort it is nice to hear your opinion daisy

Well take Bob. He was hard work at first.
But he loved to hang out, chatted. Gave me a kiss. Got into trouble.
But after a while he never but without warning. So he never bit.
IRN are not like a too. And not nippy like some conures.
You get a warning, then a big bite.
They are a bit bipolar. Don't like a cuddle so much.
But won't pluck if left alone with toys for a while.
I loved my Bob. Because of his personality quirks!
We were like peas in a pod!
