I adore galah's, moluccans, palms, and bare-eyed toos. I also like goffins
I grew up with a Moluccan and an umbrella and while I like the umbrellas, after working with them in the shop I found them unpredictable and a little unreliable, more prone to nipping. The same for the medium and greater sulphurs.
Galahs, bare eyed, and goffins are just such clowns and characters. My grandparents had a goffins - his name was dufus for a reason
they're also snuggly, but seem to do better with independent play than some of the bigger toos.
Moluccans are just such big, beautiful birds. They are even tempered, though males can get very aggressive and possessive during breeding season. I will admit, my bias to moluccans is probably because of Rio
but that seems to be a trend reading everyones experiences and preferences.
Palms are just stunning, even tempered gentle giants when hand raised, and like all toos I'm sure they can be rowdy when wild, I've only worked with hand raised captive bred palms.
